Dating boundaries

The biblical AM framework and conventional archaeological chronology are shown together for comparison, not merged into one dating system. Babel, the Judges period, and several giant-clan events do not carry exact biblical calendar years and are marked approximate or inferred where appropriate.

Method

How this timeline handles evidence

Biblical chronology, approximate historical placement, archaeology, ancient civilizations, and the museum's migration hypothesis remain visibly separated. Alignment on one screen does not make every date equally certain.

Key distinction

The migration hypothesis is not Scripture

Scripture records the defeat and contraction of giant-associated peoples, including survivors at Gaza, Gath, and Ashdod. A later eastward migration is a museum research hypothesis and is displayed as such.

Primary timeline references

  • Genesis 7–11, Flood, post-Flood genealogy, Babel, and dispersion.
  • Genesis 12–50, Abraham, Isaac, Jacob, Joseph, and the movement into Egypt.
  • Exodus through Joshua, Exodus, wilderness period, conquest, and the Anakim.
  • Deuteronomy 2–3, Rephaim-associated peoples and Og of Bashan.
  • 1 Samuel 17, Goliath of Gath.
  • 2 Samuel 21 and 1 Chronicles 20, later giant-associated warriors of Gath.
  • 1 Kings 1–6, Solomon's accession and the opening years of his reign.
